Bookings and Cancellations
We want your experience with Outpost to be a smooth and stress-free as possible, and we are committed to helping you enjoy a truly unique vacation. Our bookings and cancellations policy is designed to offer peace of mind when using our website, so you can get on with planning your vacation without worry. Read on to learn more about how to book and what happens if you need to cancel.
The minimum age to make a booking is 25 years old. Younger guests are welcome when accompanied by guardians who meet the respective age requirements.
Payment and Cancellations
All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD$). Payment is accepted through Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Upon completion of your booking, a non-refundable deposit totaling 20% of the rental charge plus taxes must be paid. The remaining costs of your stay are charged 45 days before your arrival. If you book a vacation home inside 45 days of arrival, then the entire amount will be charged at booking and is non-refundable
If you wish to cancel your reservation, the following charges apply:
- More than 45 days before arrival – 20% deposit is forfeited
- Within 45 days of booking – 100% of rental fee is forfeited
Check-In and Check-Out
You can check-in to your property after 4pm on the first day of your rental.
Check-out time is 10am. Failure to check-out on time may incur additional fees unless otherwise agreed with your property manager.
Vacation homes are priced per bed. Adults using pull out sofa beds or camp beds will be charged an additional $25 per person per night plus taxes. Children under the age of 18 incur no additional charge.
One parking spot is included with your apartment, however, please ensure you use only the areas assigned to you. Parking elsewhere may lead to your vehicle being towed at your own expense. If your parking stall is occupied, please contact us immediately. Additional stalls may be available on request but cannot be guaranteed.
We ensure that all our apartments are fully cleaned and ready for your arrival. This includes tissue, toilet paper, paper towels, bath soap, laundry, dish detergent, clean bed linens, and towels. We do not replace these items unless a mid-stay clean is requested.
Upon check-out, please leave the property in the same general condition as when you arrived. Remove all food from the refrigerator and place dishes in the dishwasher.
All of our vacation apartments are non-smoking. This includes vaping.
Pets are only allowed in designated pet-friendly apartments. A charge of $35 is made for guests who wish to bring pets.
