  • Maintenance Manager

    As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our properties. Performing all forms of general property maintenance. The duties will include minor electrical work, drywall repairs, painting, caulking, tiling, small carpentry jobs, audiovisual set up, minor plumbing jobs, and general problem-solving. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for someone who can ideally commit to 1+ years in the role.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    Must have a valid BC Drivers' License Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience

    DUTIES:
    - Work with our team to respond to guest and owner’s maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
    - Work closely with Hosts, Front Desk, and Owner Relations to ensure timely followup
    - Liaise with contractors and trades
    - Perform regular preventative maintenance and deficiency checks in homes
    - Manage projects as well as day to day guest service calls and owner maintenance requests
    - Track and order maintenance supplies
    - Complete follow up notes on service orders in a timely manner
    - Assist with month-end maintenance tracking & charges

    APPLICABLE SKILLS:
    - Excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude
    - Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
    - Strong customer service orientation and skills
    - Ability to competently perform small repairs and maintenance
    - Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds
    - Competent with using hand and power tools
    - Strong general handyman skills
    - Basic mechanical skills is an asset
    - Knowledge of the Whistler area is an asset

  • Maintenance Technician

    As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring our properties are kept in tiptop shape. You will need to have a can-do attitude and be a jack of all trades. You will be supporting our Maintenance Manager and Property Services Team with a variety of general property maintenance and must be competent in replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting AV and electronics, able to clear blocked drains, etc. In the off-season, you will be performing preventative maintenance inspections and identifying areas in our properties that need attention.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:
    - Must have a valid BC Drivers' License
    - Competent in troubleshooting and basic home repairs
    - Background in construction work or trade work preferred
    - Observational skills and troubleshooting ability
    - Ability to prioritize and work under pressure

    DUTIES:
    - Work with our team to respond to guest and owner’s maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
    - You follow instructions to a tee and are able to communicate effectively on what needs follow up
    - Work closely with Maintenance Manager, Property Services Team, Front Desk and Owner Relations Team to ensure timely follow-up
    -You will be on the go, moving from home to home throughout the day with minimal supervision
    - Perform regular preventative maintenance and deficiency checks in homes
    - Completing notes via our app on service orders in a timely manner
    - Preforming property inspections when needed

    APPLICABLE SKILLS:
    - Excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude
    - Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
    - Strong general handyman skills
    - Experience in a property management or hotel environment is an asset
    - Basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills are an asset
    - Knowledge of the Whistler area is an asset

  • Cleaning Property Inspector

    Cleaning Property Inspector Role:

    As a Cleaning Property Inspector, you own the overall care and presentation of our properties for our guests and owners. You are the final set of eyes to ensure the housekeeping is held to our high standards. This detail-oriented role requires both a keen eye and thoughtfulness.

    Daily tasks:

    - Inspecting properties to ensure they are maintained and cleaned to the Outpost standards ready for guest arrivals
    - Light cleaning
    - Staging units to create a welcoming feel for our guests
    - Identify and reports maintenance related problems
    - Assisting different departments when needed

    What you need:

    - Valid drivers license
    - Organized
    - Reliable
    - Detail-oriented
    - Time management
    - Teamwork
    - Proficient in English
    - Housekeeping experience isn't necessary but it is a big plus!
